Alcoholics Anonymous
AA meets every Monday at 7:30 in the board room at the Cary Center. This meeting is open to the public. Please reach out with any questions.
Health and Medical Screenings
Every Tuesday from 9-11 am a nurse is at the Cary Center to provide general health screenings, glucose testing, blood pressure screenings, and flu vaccinations.
Creating At the Cary Center
Monthly art classes are held at the Cary Center after school for CAB students in grades K-5.
Kids Talk
We have partnered with Aspire to provide a children's advocacy center that focuses on the physical and emotional health of the child.
Christian Believer
A weekly group that meets on on Sundays at 5:30. The focus is on the classical teachings of the Christian faith. Classes begin August 3rd and run for 30 weeks. Join at any time. All are welcome.
Grandparent and Guardian Support
This support group focuses on grandparents and guardians that are raising their grandchildren. The Love and Logic program is use and focuses on raising children in a modern world.
Classes meet each Thursday from 6:30-8:00 pm beginning September 18th. Classes will run for approximately 6 weeks.
Food Distribution with Second Harvest
We have partnered with Second Harvest for monthly food distribution for seniors (age 60 and over) . Food is available the 3rd Thursday of every month from noon-1 pm.
Mobile Market
The Cary Center hosts the Mobile Market the 1st Thursday of every month from 4-6 pm. This is open to anyone.
Warming/Cooling Center
During times of extreme cold or severe weather, The Cary Center will open its doors to those who need it. Food, drinks, blankets, etc. are available.
Backpack and School Supply Giveaway
The Cary Center hosts a backpack and school supply drive and giveaway at the beginning of each school year. The goal is to make sure all students of CA Beard Schools with the supplies needed.
Hygiene/Supply Closet
Our closet is stocked with essential personal care items. We provide toiletries to basic hygiene products. These are available to anyone in need.
Around the Center
We are currently housing the Knightstown Public Library while they undergo a renovation. You can find the library in the basement of the Cary Center.
